What a good idea to take account of how long germination takes. From memory my tomato seeds germinated in about 4 days. All it takes is a heated bottom!
I tend to forget from one year to the next how long things take to germinate and then worries when they take longer than I think they should!
I have a heated propagator so hopefully they shouldn't take too long, tomatoes are doing ok but aubergines can be a bit temperemental...
